iWalkie End User License Agreement
Effective date: July 13, 2026
1. Parties and acceptance
This End User License Agreement is between you and KitVa Limited, not Apple. It governs your licensed use of the iWalkie application. Apple and its subsidiaries are not parties to this agreement. By installing or using iWalkie, you accept this agreement, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy.
2. Licence grant
Subject to this agreement, KitVa Limited grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use iWalkie on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and any applicable Family Sharing or volume-purchase rules.
3. Restrictions
Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, modify, translate, adapt, distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, make available as a service bureau, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract source code from, bypass security in, or create derivative works of iWalkie. You may not remove ownership notices or use iWalkie to develop or operate a competing or unlawful service.
4. Service and account components
The software licence does not create a right to permanent access to iWalkie's hosted service. Accounts, friendships, channels, notifications, live presence, floor control, and voice transport require online systems and may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued. Use of those service components is also governed by the Terms of Use.
5. Updates and compatibility
We may provide updates that correct defects, improve security, change features, or maintain compatibility. Some updates may be required to continue using the service. We do not guarantee compatibility with every current or future Apple device, operating-system version, network, Bluetooth accessory, or third-party service.
6. Privacy and permissions
iWalkie requires account, network, and microphone access for its core features and may request notification and Bluetooth-related access. Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for granting permissions only on devices you are authorised to use and for respecting the privacy of channel participants.
7. External services
iWalkie relies on Apple services, Cloudflare, LiveKit, internet providers, and device platforms. Their terms and availability may apply independently. KitVa Limited is responsible for iWalkie as required by law, but does not control or guarantee a third party's network, platform, account service, notification delivery, or media infrastructure.
8. Maintenance and support
KitVa Limited, not Apple, is responsible for maintenance and support for iWalkie to the extent required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for iWalkie.
9. Warranty, product claims, and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iWalkie is licensed on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KitVa Limited, not Apple, is responsible for addressing valid claims concerning iWalkie, including product-liability, legal-conformity, and consumer-protection claims, subject to this agreement and applicable law. If iWalkie fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund any purchase price for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation concerning iWalkie.
iWalkie is not an emergency or safety-critical communication service. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Intellectual-property claims
If a third party claims that iWalkie or your authorised use of it infringes intellectual-property rights, KitVa Limited, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging that claim as required by applicable law.
11. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you materially breach this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using and delete iWalkie. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, and third-party rights continue where their nature requires. Deleting the app does not by itself delete your hosted account; use the in-app Delete Account control for that purpose.
12. Apple as third-party beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. When you accept it, Apple has the right to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.
